Biographical Information

The brother of Marquis Grissom, outfielder Antonio Grissom was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 19th round of the 1990 amateur draft. He played two years in their organization and three seasons in the Montreal Expos system but never reached the major leagues.

He later became a scout with his territory spanning Georgia and South Carolina for the Chicago Cubs. He has signed Ryan Flaherty, Tyler Colvin and Marquez Smith among others. He then was head coach of Morehouse College.
