Info

A very unique individual whose sanity is only kept intact by obsessively editing this site and researching until my brain turns off every night.

  • SABR member as of April 17, 2024

Current goals

  • Add images to every 19th-century major league player page. I will work back from 1871 until 1900. (I am currently up to 1898 complete)
  • Add more pages for AAGPBL players and add info + images to the existing pages.
  • Same as the one above for the Cuban Winter League, Negro Leagues, Pre-Negro Leagues, and Pre-MLB players.

List of "missing players/coaches/umpires" (guys with no known existing images)

This is a list of every person we currently do not have any existing images of. This list was compiled by User:tnfoto on the OOTP forums in 2022 and has been updated every time a new image is discovered.

Current changes that still need to be made to this list

  • Tom Smith (1875) since proven to have been misidentified and was actually D. Smith, who we currently have no photos of
  • George Popplein (1873) image has since been discovered
  • Ernie Hickman (1884) image has since been discovered
  • George Patterson (1884) image since been proven to have been confused with a different George Patterson who was actually a minor leaguer, so the big league Patterson is still a "missing player."
  • Ed Watkins (1902) image has since been discovered
  • John Farrell (farrebi01) is a missing player but is not mentioned on the list.
  • Alex McFarlan (1892) has since been found but is still listed as a missing player.
  • Ike Samuels (1895) has since been discovered but is still listed as a missing player.
  • Frank Quinlan (1891) has been discovered by cinemaodyssey
  • Mike Flynn (1891) has since been discovered by cinemaodyssey as well
  • John Puhl (1898) has also been discovered since by the same fella
  • Fred Crane (1873) is a missing player again as the person originally thought to be him turned out to be a different pre-MLB player
  • James/George McMullen (1887) has been found

"Accomplishments"

  • The day I was born: Came into the world and became a relative of Ren Wylie (who played for the first Pittsburgh team ever) on my dad's side and Dave Koslo (who gave up Jackie Robinson's first MLB home run) on my mom's side. Baseball is in my blood, literally.
  • October 2023: 2 of the earliest articles I wrote were both featured on the main page right after I wrote them. They were Carlos Royer and Octavius Catto.
  • Currently: 10000+ edits
  • Had former World Series champion, Benny Ayala compliment my custom MLB The Show 19th century rosters
  • Made my college debut on March 28, 2024
  • On March 29, 2024, I was a better player than Yoshinobu Yamamoto based on my stats (My 1.1 IP with a 20.25 ERA and 4.50 WHIP vs his 1.0 IP with a 45.00 ERA and 5.000 WHIP at the time)
  • Reached 4000 edits on my 19th birthday.
  • Youngest administrator on the site
  • Reached 8000 edits on the 1-year anniversary of editing on this site.... has it really been that long already? It feels weird to think it's been that long wow.
  • On February 6, 2025 my article on spiking appeared in a video by a very popular Youtuber called Baseball Doesn't Exist, at appears at the 1:48 mark in this video. Unfortunately, Philippe added on a sentence at the end that had a typo that made it into the video, but the guy in the video also called Fernando Vina Jose Vidro too so it seems like I'm the only one who didn't make an error here.
