2017 Rule V Draft

From BR Bullpen

The 2017 Rule V Draft was held December 14th in Lake Buena Vista, FL at the conclusion of the annual winter meetings. The major league portion of the draft was dominated by pitching, as hurlers represented 15 of the 17 picks. One notable exception to this trend was OF Victor Reyes, selected first overall by the Detroit Tigers.

Four players were traded to other teams immediately after having been drafted.
