2023 Rule V Draft
The 2023 Rule V Draft was held at the Winter Meetings on December 6. Only 10 players were selected in the Major League portion of the draft, the fewest selected since 2013 when 9 players were selected. 63 players were selected in the Minor League portion of the draft.
Combining both phases, the Miami Marlins, Philadelphia Phillies, and Washington Nationals' organizations led the way by drafting 5 players each. The Boston Red Sox had 9 players selected from their organization, more than any other.
