1943 Rule V Draft
The major league 1943 Rule V Draft was held November 1 and 2 in Commissioner Landis' office in Chicago, IL. 16 players were drafted by major league teams, down from 23 the previous year. The AA phase of the draft produced 8 selections, while the A1 phase, held November 12, produced none. The A phase was to be held November 17-19 and the B phase was to be held November 22-24.
