1934 Rule V Draft

The major league 1934 Rule V Draft was held October 2. 10 players were drafted by major league teams. Leroy Herrmann was the first selection followed by Fay Thomas. The class AA phase was held from October 9-11, class A from October 15-17, class B from October 21-23, and class C from October 27-29. The Johnstown Johnnies were the first class C team to make a selection since 1927.
