Biographical Information

Pitcher Carson Coleman was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 33rd round og the 2019 amateur draft. Coleman reached AA in 2022, but missed the entire 2023 season on disabled list. Despite this he was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 2023 Rule V Draft. He again missed the entire season on the disabled list. After the season, Coleman was returned to the Yankees in November. Injury time does not count toward the roster restriction, so Coleman would have still been required to be carried on the major league roster for 2025 if the Rangers had kept him.
