Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Levi Jordan was a walk-on at the University of Washington but still managed to end up in the school's top five in terms of games played and at-bats. He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 29th round of the 2018 amateur draft after batting .305 in 60 games as a senior and playing in the 2018 College World Series. He played the middle infield in college, but also got some time in the outfield in the minor leagues as his future was likely to be as a utility player.

He played in the Cubs system until 2023, then was taken by the Cincinnati Reds in the minor league portion of the 2023 Rule V Draft on December 6th that year. He started the 2024 season in AAA with the Louisville Bats of the International League and was hitting .302 in 54 ganmes when he got the call to Cincinnati. He made his big league debut on June 24th, starting in right field and batting 8th against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He went 1 for 3, both scoring and driving in a run in an 11-5 win; his first big league hit was a double off Daulton Jefferies.
