2008 CPBL All-Star Game

The 2008 CPBL All-Star Game was held July 20, 2008. The Chinatrust Whales, DMedia T-Rex and Brother Elephants formed the CPBL Red Team, while the the Sinon Bulls, La New Bears and the Uni-President Lions made up the CPBL White Team.

The game took place at Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium with an attendance of 14,066. Yuan-Chia Chen hit the game-winning, 3-run homer against Chieh-Chun Lee in the 6th inning, and he was named the MVP. Chih-Yuan Chen also crushed a 2-run homer in the 3rd inning, and Chia-Hsien Hsieh drove in 2 runs with a single. Fu-Hao Liu of the White team blasted a 2-run homer, then Tilson Brito and Tai-Shan Chang both added a solo shot. However, they allowed 8 runs in the 6th inning, and the White team grabbed the win.
