1992 CPBL All-Star Game

The 1992 CPBL All-Star Game was held July 9, July 11 and July 12, 1992. The Mercuries Tigers and Uni-President Lions formed the CPBL Red Team, while the Brother Elephants and Wei Chuan Dragons made up the CPBL White Team.

Game 1[edit]

The Game 1 took place at Tainan Baseball Field with an attendance of 4,632. Freddy Tiburcio crushed the only homer of the winning team, and Yen-Cheng Chen collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, Cheng-Hsien Chen was 3-for-4 with 3 RBI for the Red Team, and Jong-Nan Tu drove in 2 runs with a single.

The Game 2 took place at Hsinchu Baseball Field with an attendance of 5,372, and it was the first tie game in CPBL All-Star history. Tsao-Li Sun was the only White team player to get multiple hits, and he also scored a run. Ming-Kun Ho doubled for the Red team, and Jong-Nan Tu drove in both of their runs with a single.

The Game 3 took place at Taipei Municipal Baseball Stadium with an attendance of 10,597. Hsin-Sheng Cheng drove in the winning run with a single for the Red team, and Chi-Chen Tseng was 2-for-2. Ming-Shan Kang got the win with 3 shutout inning, and Wu-Hsiung Huang pitched a shutout inning to close the door.
