Chinese Professional Baseball League All-Star Game

The CPBL All-Star Game is an annual series between teams made up of the top players in the Chinese Professional Baseball League. The first All-Star Game was held in 1990 when the league was founded. Since CPBL didn't had two leagues (unlike MLB and NPB), the formation of the contests changed many times. Originally, teams which ranked first and last formed the Red Team, and the others formed the White Team. Since 1999, the ruled changed to Northern teams being the Red Team, and Southern teams forming the White Team. In 2015, the league started to try making up teams with a more creative way. For example, 2015 was power hitters vs. speedy players, 2017 was veterans vs. prospects and 2023 was national team players vs. CPBL players.
