1996 CPBL All-Star Game

The 1996 CPBL All-Star Game was held July 6, 1996. The Wei Chuan Dragons, China Times Eagles and Uni-President Lions formed the CPBL Red Team, while the Brother Elephants, Mercuries Tigers and the Sinon Bulls made up the CPBL White Team.

The game took place at Tainan Baseball Field with an attendance of 5,212. The MVP went to Francisco Laureano as he hit a game-winning RBI double in the 7th inning, and he was the last foreign player to win a All-Star MVP as of 2023. Chun-Chieh Huang drove in 2 runs with a single, and Kuo-Chian Ku was 2-for-2 with a triple. I-Tseng Lin and Epy Guerrero Jr. both hit homers for the White team, but they still lost the game.
