1998 CPBL All-Star Game

The 1998 CPBL All-Star Game was held July 15, 1998. The Wei Chuan Dragons, Mercuries Tigers and Sinon Bulls formed the CPBL Red Team, while the Brother Elephants, Chinatrust Whales and the Uni-President Lions made up the CPBL White Team.

The game took place at XinZhuang Baseball Stadium with an attendance of 6,134. The MVP went to Kun-Hsiang Tsai, who was 2-for-2 with a RBI double in the 8th inning. Osvaldo Martínez struck out 2 in 2 shutout innings to get the win, and Alvin Brown notched the save while striking out all three batters he faced. Kuang-Huei Wang drove in the only run of the White team with a solo shot against Rafael Pina in the 4th inning.
