Biographical Information[edit]

Brian Drahman pitched in 47 games over 4 years in the major leagues. He had a record of 3-2 and 1 save. All 5 of his decisions came in his rookie year of 1991 with the Chicago White Sox. He pitched in 28 games that year with a solid 3.23 ERA. He pitched in 5 games each in 1992 and 1993 with the White Sox, picking up his only save on October 2, 1993 against the Cleveland Indians. He pitched the last inning in a 4-2 White Sox win, giving up 2 hits. He pitched in 9 games with the 1994 Florida Marlins, getting no decisions and a high ERA of 6.23. Although he did not pitch alot of innings, his career 3.54 ERA is almost half a run better than average for the years he pitched giving him a 115 ERA+.

Since his playing career ended, Drahman has been a minor league coach. He was pitching coach of the Allentown Ambassadors, Gary SouthShore RailCats (2002), and New Jersey Jackals (2003). He was manager of the Sussex Skyhawks of the independent Can-Am League in 2006-2007. Drahman was the pitching coach of the Winston-Salem Warthogs in 2008, the Great Falls Voyagers in 2009-2015, Kannapolis Intimidators in 2016, and Winston-Salem Dash in 2017.
