- November 4: The Softbank Hawks win their 4th Japan Series in seven years, taking the 2017 Japan Series. Dennis Sarfate is named Series MVP.
- November 3: Gary Owens wins MVP of the southern Bundesliga-1 a day after Maurice Wilhelm is named MVP in the north.
- November 2: The Lamigo Monkeys win the 2017 Taiwan Series for their fourth title this decade. Chun-Hsiu Chen wins Taiwan Series MVP.
- November 1: The Houston Astros win their first World Series title by defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers, 4 games to 3, in the 2017 World Series. George Springer wins the Willie Mays Award as the series' MVP.
- October 30: The KIA Tigers win the 2017 Korean Series. Hyeon-jong Yang is named Korean Series MVP.
- October 30: Tomoyuki Sugano wins the Sawamura Award for 2017.
- October 28: Kenley Jansen becomes the first repeat winner of the Trevor Hoffman Award given to the best reliever in the National League, while Craig Kimbrel is the winner of the Mariano Rivera Award, its equivalent in the American League.
- October 28: Rob Cordemans wins his tenth Hoofdklasse Pitcher of the Year Award, tying Herman Beidschat's all-time record. At age 38, Danny Rombley is a first-time MVP.
- October 23: The British Baseball Hall of Fame announces its 2017 class: Don Smallwood, Ian Young and Nick Carter.
- October 21: The Houston Astros win the American League pennant, becoming the first team to win the pennant in both major leagues.
