Biographical Information[edit]
Mirei Suzuki was a sportswriter who helped set up the standardization of baseball rules between amateur and professional baseball in Japan in 1955, writing the Official Babe Rules in 1956. It was the first unified rules and regulations for Japanese baseball. He also wrote several books on Japanese baseball rules. He was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 2017.
