Biographical Information[edit]
Hiroshi Goshi was a prominent amateur umpire in Japan. He worked in high school, college and the industrial league. He worked 16 spring Koshiens and 15 summer Koshiens. He worked home plate in the famous 18-inning tie in the finale of the 1969 summer Koshien. He was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame posthumously in 2017.
