2015 Canadian National Team
The 2015 Canadian National Team won the Gold medal at the 2015 Pan American Games, held in Toronto, ON. The team was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2017. This edition of Team Canada was only the second national team ever to successfully defend a Pan American title, and made Canada the second country after Cuba to have won more than one Pan Am title.
The win in the finale was a nail-biter, as they needed until the 10th inning to defeat Team USA, 7-6, after rallying from a two-run deficit in the top of the inning. The team went 7-1 overall, its only loss coming at the hands of the U.S. in the preliminary round.
