Bob Ossey
Bob Ossey hit .411/.533/.776 in club play in Australia and .320/.430/.503 in the Claxton Shield. He led the 1976 Claxton Shield in average (.526) and led in hits, homers and RBI in 1977. He played for the Australian national team in the 1970s and in 1983, but it is unclear if he appeared for them in any major international tournaments (he was not with them for the 1978 Amateur World Series). He later coached in Western Australia. In 2017, he was inducted into the Baseball Australia Hall of Fame alongside major league veteran John Stephens and Wally Buchanan.
