2015 Little League World Series
The 2015 Little League World Series was the 69th Little League World Series. A record attendance of 499,964 fans showed up, thanks to the excellent play of the "home" Lewisberry, PA team that reached the finale before falling to Tokyo. The old mark, set in 2011, had been 414,905.
Ugandan manager Bernard Adei later managed the Ugandan national team in 2019 and his team included 2015 LLWS player Nicholas Alumai.

- Pearland, TX 1, Portland, OR 0. Jarett Tadlock and Isaac Garcia combine on a shutout, fanning 11, while Garcia homers for all the offense. Dylan MacLean fans 12 in 5 2/3 IP for Portland but suffers the loss thanks to Garcia's dinger.
- Lewisberry, PA 18, Webb City, MO 0. Cole Wagner homers twice, doubles, singles and drives in six, including a grand slam, in a romp.
- Bonita, CA 14, Bowling Green, KY 2. Bonita blasts five homers in the 3rd to tie a record set in 1992. Dante Schmid fans 8 and hits a three-run homer.
- Taylors, SC 7, Cranston, RI 1. Alex Edmonson fires a no-hitter and smacks a two-run homer. It is the first LLWS win ever for a team from South Carolina.
- Barquisimeto, Lara 5, Sydney, New South Wales 2. Yeiner Fernandez's three-run homer in the 6th makes the difference for Venezuela.
- Kampala 4, Santiago, Santiago 1. Francis Alemo smacks a two-run double and is the winning hurler for Uganda as a country not known for baseball beats one of the top baseball nations.
- Mexicali, Baja California 1, White Rock, BC 0. The two teams battled scorelessly for five before Raul Leon triples to lead off the 6th and Daniel Zaragoza follows with a game-winning single.
- Tokyo 7, Taipei 5. Kengo Tomita goes deep twice as Japan wins a battle of Asian powers.
August 22[edit]
- Bowling Green, KY 7, Portland, OR 5. Devin Obee's three-run homer was the big blow as Portland was eliminated.
- Sydney, New South Wales 3, Santiago, Santiago 0. Jake Burns fanned 10 in 4 1/3 IP and allowed one hit, while also homering as Australia knocked out the Dominicans.
- Taipei 16, White Rock, BC 4. Wei-Hung Chou hit a grand slam as Taiwan routed Canada.
- Cranston, RI 6, Webb City, MO 3. Rhode Island scored five times with two outs in the 1st to cruise to victory.
August 23[edit]
- Lewisberry, PA 9, Taylors, SC 8. Lewisberry blows a 6-0 lead but rallies to win on a two-run double by Jaden Henline in the 6th.
- Pearland, TX 8, Bonita, CA 4. Ben Gottfried hits a two-run homer and helps shut down a potent Californian attack.
- Barquisimeto, Lara 7, Kampala 0. Luis Castillo is a two-way star, with two-run home run as a batter and a one-hitter as a pitcher.
- Tokyo 3, Mexicali, Baja California 1. Nobuyuki Kawashima and Daiki Fukuyama provide the pitching, while PH Fukutaro Kiyomiya homers.
August 24[edit]
- Bowling Green, KY 4, Taylors, SC 3. Ty Bryant (W) and Eli Burwash (Sv) combine to pitch Bowling Green to victory, Burwash also homering. Taylors was knocked out.
- Bonita, CA 10, Cranston, RI 3. Levi Mendez goes 3 for 3 and fans 11 while Jacob Baptista hits a grand slam. Dante Schmid homered for the third straight game for Bonita. Cranston was sent packing.
- Mexicali, Baja California 14, Sydney, New South Wales 3. Jorge Armenta goes 3 for 3 with a homer and four RBI and Damian Garcia and Alberto Bustos also homer for Mexicali to eliminate Australia.
- Taipei 5, Kampala 0. Wei-Hung Chou fans 14, walks none and allows one hit in a masterpiece to stifle Kampala, which is eliminated. Chou also has two hits and two runs.
August 25[edit]
- Bonita, CA 11, Bowling Green, KY 4. In an elimination game, Bonita again stays alive with high offense; Levi Mendez and Antonio Andrade go deep for them as Schmid's home run streak ends.
- Mexicali, Baja California 11, Taipei 1. In the other elimination game, Raul Leon hits a three-run homer in the first and a two-run single in the second to lead Mexico to victory.
- Webb City, MO 18, White Rock, BC 6. In a consolation game, Missouri cruises to victory, aided by two-run shots by Devrin Weathers and Jaystin Smith.
August 26[edit]
- Lewisberry, PA 3, Pearland, TX 0. Lewisberry becomes the first team to the US finale as Adam Cramer fans 13 in five innings of three-hit ball and Jaden Henline fans three more in the 6th. Cole Wagner hits his 5th home run.
- Tokyo 5, Barquisimeto, Lara 4. Tokyo makes it to the international finale with a tying run with one out to go in the 6th and rallying from two down in the 8th.
August 27[edit]
- Pearland, TX 9, Bonita, CA 7. Pearland advanced to the US finale thanks to a power-happy attack which included homers by Zack Mack (a grand slam), Marco Gutierrez, Ben Gottfried (a tying shot in the bottom of the 8th) and Caleb Low (a two-run game-winner in the 8th). For the hard-hitting Bonita club, Jacob Baptista, Levi Mendez and Walker Lannon went deep, but the pitching wasn't there.
- Mexicali, Baja California 11, Barquisimeto, Lara 0. Mexicali cruised to the international finale as Daniel Zaragoza fanned six in 5 2/3 shutout innings and also hit a two-run double.
August 29[edit]
- Lewisberry, PA 3, Pearland, TX 2. Lewisberry wins a tight game to advance to the finale as Chayton Krauss hits a run-scoring single in the 6th for the win. Cole Wagner fans 11 in 5 2/3 IP and homers, while Jaden Henline also goes deep for Lewisberry.
- Tokyo 1, Mexicali, Baja California 0. Japan makes the finale in spite of being kept hitless by Mexico's pitching during regulation innings of the world finale. Yugo Aoki starts the 7th with a single and scores on a fielder's choice by Koki Jo for the game's only run. Kabu Kikuchi and Armando Verdugo are the young pitching stars.
August 30[edit]
- Tokyo 18, Lewisberry, PA 11. Lewisberry sets a record with 10 first-inning runs to match the total Japan had allowed in the whole tournament, but Japan then staged the largest rally in LLWS history (rallying from down 10-2 to win). The teams combined for a championship-record 30 hits and 29 runs. Nobuyuki Kawashima allows two hits and one run in five innings of relief for the win, while Masafuji Nishijima has 4 hits and 6 RBI and Shingo Tomita goes deep twice.
