1990 Little League World Series

The 1990 Little League World Series was the 14th Little League World Series won by an entry from Taiwan, but perhaps the most notable in terms of professional talent produced for Taiwan's leagues. The San-Hua club of Taiwan easily won the title, beating Shippensburg, PA 9-0 in the championship game. Rains postponed the tournament for multiple days. Six members of the team would go on to star in Taiwan's Chinese Professional Baseball League:

1. Chin-Feng Chen became the first Taiwanese player to appear in Major League Baseball. He would be named to the Best Ten as the top DH in the CPBL four straight times from 2006-2009.
2. Sung-Hsien Yang twice was named to the Best Ten as one of the CPBL's top three outfielders. He once finished third in the league in average.
3. Han-Chou Tseng was twice named to the Best Ten as the CPBL's best designated hitter before a gambling scandal ended his career.
4. Chang-Ming Cheng made the Best Ten as the top CPBL shortstop in 2005 and also played in the 2004 Olympics. His career also ended early due to a gambling scandal.
5. Chao-Chi Sung struck out 16 in a two-hit shutout in the LLWS finale. He won the first pitching Triple Crown in CPBL history, doing so in 2002.
6. Ming-Chieh Hsu was MVP of the 1999 Taiwan Major League finals then pitched for many years in Nippon Pro Baseball. He has played in at least five Asian Championships.

Another notable player from the Series was Jason Bay, who played for the Canadian entry.
