1987 Little League World Series

The 1987 Little League World Series was the 41st Little League World Series. The teams were Glace Bay, NS, Taipei County, Moca, Espaillat, Dhahran, Irvine, CA, Chesterfield, IN, Dover, NH (the first New Hampshire entry) and Morristown, TN. Taipei dominated the tournament, with a 0.00 ERA. Aron Garcia of Irvine no-hit Dover. In the finale, Taipei crushed Irvine, 21-1. Yi-Hung Lin struck out 9 and scattered 6 hits while Garcia allowed 13 hits and 21 runs in 2 2/3 IP. Taiwanese leadoff man/LF Yu-Long Pang homered twice, scored four and drove in six.
