Dhahran

Dhahran, also known as Az-Zahran is a city in eastern Saudi Arabia. It is located in the heart of the Saudi oil fields, near the Persian Gulf and the neighboring country of Bahrain. The presence of large oil producing facilities has attracted an important expatriate population, including a number of American workers and their families; as a result, teams from Dhahran regularly represent the region in the Little League World Series.
