Saudi Arabia was almost always the Middle Eastern country represented in the Little League World Series when a Middle East representative was guaranteed a spot - not because there is much baseball played by citizens, but because a number of expatriate Americans working in the oil and gas industry live there with their families. The first major leaguer born here was Craig Stansberry. Alex Wilson was the second.
