1975 Little League World Series
The 1975 Little League World Series was the 29th Little League World Series. Only four teams participated, all from the US: Northridge, CA, Tampa, FL, Davenport, IA and Lakewood, NJ. In the finale, Lakewood beat Tampa 4-3. Tampa's R. Crum hit a two-run homer in the first, but that was the only hit allowed by Ro. Del Conte. One major leaguer appeared in the Series, Vance Lovelace of Tampa. Lovelace pitched the entire finale for Tampa, allowing five walks, six hits and four runs (three earned) in five innings while striking out seven. He was 0 for 2 at the plate.
