2005 Little League World Series

The 2005 Little League World Series was won by the West Oahu club of Ewa Beach, HI. The team went 6-0, beating Willemstad, Curacao 7-6 in the finale. Hawaii catcher Michael Memea ended it in the 7th with a walk-off homer off reliever Chris Garia. Among those who played were future major leaguers Jurickson Profar (Willemstad) and Max Moroff as well as Dante Bichette, Jr., a first-round pick in the 2011 draft.
