Biographical Information

Nicholas Alumai has pitched for the Ugandan national team.

He was already 6 feet tall by the 2015 Little League World Series, tying Bryce Ramirez as the tallest player in the event. He was with Uganda for the 2019 Africa Cup Baseball Championship at age 16; he was not their youngest hurler, though, as Jerry Omara turned 15 during the event. Alumai finished up a combined no-hitter with Bernard Adei against Zimbabwe. In the finale, he relieved Allan Kabenge with a 9-0 deficit in the 3rd. He retired one of five batters before Adei took over as South Africa routed Uganda. He finished with a 6.00 ERA in the event and fanned five in three innings; only Adei fanned more for Uganda.
