Biographical Information[edit]
Nicholas Alumai has pitched for the Ugandan national team.
He was already 6 feet tall by the 2015 Little League World Series, tying Bryce Ramirez as the tallest player in the event. [1] He was with Uganda for the 2019 Africa Cup Baseball Championship at age 16; he was not their youngest hurler, though, as Jerry Omara turned 15 during the event. Alumai finished up a combined no-hitter with Bernard Adei against Zimbabwe. [2] In the finale, he relieved Allan Kabenge with a 9-0 deficit in the 3rd. He retired one of five batters before Adei took over as South Africa routed Uganda. [3] He finished with a 6.00 ERA in the event and fanned five in three innings; only Adei fanned more for Uganda.
