Allan Kabenge
- Born ~2000
Biographical Information[edit]
Allan Kabenge pitched for the Ugandan national team in the 2019 Africa Cup Baseball Championship. He took their only two losses, but it is because he got the toughest assignments, facing South Africa twice. In the finale, he held South Africa to one run in the first, when Rowan Ebersohn hit a sacrifice fly to score Kyle Botha. In the 2nd, though, South Africa scored 8 more and Nicholas Alumai took over. While Kabenge was only 19, he was not the team's youngest pitcher by any means; Alumai was 16 and Jerry Omara turned 15 during the event. He finished at 0-2, 18.00. He tied Aziz Bonkoungou for the tournament lead in losses, tied Cliff Vint for 3rd with 19 hits allowed and tied Vint for 4th with 14 runs allowed. His 14 earned runs allowed led the event, one ahead of Bonkoungou.
