Aziz Bonkoungou
Aziz Bonkoungou was a two-way player for the Burkinabe national team in the 2019 Africa Cup Baseball Championship. Playing every position except catcher, shortstop and center field, he went 2 for 12 at the plate. On the mound, he was 0-2 with a 13.45 ERA, better than the team ERA of 14.96. He tied Allan Kabenge for the event lead in losses, tied Bernard Adei for 4th in IP (8 2/3 IP), was 4th with 18 hits allowed, allowed the most homers (4), was 2nd with 20 runs allowed (two behind teammate Hamidou Kafando), was 2nd with 13 earned runs allowed (one behind Kabenge) and tied Cliff Vint for the lead with 11 batters whiffed.
