Cliff Vint pitched for the Zimbabwean national team that placed third in the 2019 Africa Cup Baseball Championship. He and Hloniphani Ngulube pitched Zimbabwe to victory in their opener over Burkina Faso. In the semifinals, though, he lost to Bernard Adei and Uganda, walking two and giving up four hits while retiring no one. He finished with a 1-1, 9.00 record. It was better than the team ERA of 14.15. For the tournament, he had lots of 11s: 11 IP, 11 K, 11 ER, 11 BB. He led the event in both strikeouts (tied with Aziz Bonkoungou) and was second in walks (5 behind Geoffroy Clovis Yameogo and more than the entire South African staff) while finishing 2nd in IP (4 behind Hamidou Kafando), tied for 3rd in hits allowed (19, even with Allan Kabenge), tied Kabenge for 4th with 14 runs allowed and 7th in earned runs allowed.
