The 1998 All-Star Game was held on Tuesday, July 7, 1998. The American League won the sixty-ninth midsummer classic by a score of 13 to 8. The game was held at Coors Field in Denver, CO in front of 51,267 fans. The MVP was Roberto Alomar of the Baltimore Orioles.
