The 1969 All-Star Game was played on Wednesday, July 23, 1969. The National League won the fortieth midsummer classic by a score of 9 to 3. The game was held at R.F.K. Memorial Stadium in Washington, DC in front of 45,259 fans. The MVP was Willie McCovey of the San Francisco Giants.
