The expansion Arizona Diamondbacks played their first game on March 31st at Bank One Ballpark. Travis Lee recorded the team's first hit, home run, run scored, and RBI, but the club lost 9-2 to the Colorado Rockies. On April 4th, the Diamondbacks notched their first win, a 3-2 victory over the San Francisco Giants.
