2010 Amateur Draft

The 2010 First Year Player Draft is the forty-sixth Major League Baseball Amateur Draft. It took place from June 7-9 in Secaucus, NJ. The Washington Nationals had the first pick in the draft for the second straight year. Their selection was a surprise to no one, as they picked C Bryce Harper, who had graduated early from high school to spend the season in junior college; he was considered a generational talent even if he had a gift for rubbing people the wrong way.
