Biographical Information[edit]
JaDamion Williams began his pro career in 2010. His father Reggie Williams Sr. played in the majors and his brother Reggie Williams Jr. has also played pro ball.
JaDamion was picked in the 10th round of the 2010 amateur draft by the Minnesota Twins, just four selections before his brother was drafted. The scout was Billy Corrigan. JaDamion hit only .214/.279/.295 in 37 games for the 2010 GCL Twins, striking out 43 times in 112 at-bats. He fielded .987 at second base, a bright spot. Moving to right field with the 2011 Elizabethton Twins, Williams showed big strides offensively, batting .324/.406/.465. He was 7th in the Appalachian League in OBP and 8th in average.
