History, Comments, Contributions[edit]
On May 13, the 2010 Kansas City Royals fired their manager, Trey Hillman, and replaced him with Ned Yost. The team had started very slowly, as that day's win over the Cleveland Indians improved their record to a meager 12-23. Incidentally, the game marked the first win of the season for ace Zack Greinke, the 2009 American League Cy Young Award winner; Greinke had pitched well, but had received absolutely no offensive support from his teammates up to that point.
