Biographical Information[edit]

Taylor Lindsey was a supplemental first-round pick in the 2010 amateur draft. Lindsey was All-State as a high school junior. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim took him 37th overall; it was their second compensation pick for the loss of Chone Figgins, following Kaleb Cowart. He was quickly signed by scout John Gracio for a reported $873,000 and joined the AZL Angels, going 0-for-4 against the AZL Athletics in his pro debut on June 21st.

On July 21, 2014 Lindsey was traded along with R.J. Alvarez, Jose Rondon and Elliot Morris from the Angels to the San Diego Padres for Huston Street and Trevor Gott.
