Biographical Information[edit]
John Gracio has been a scout.
Gracio was in the Navy from 1957-1978. He then coached baseball Central Catholic High School and Marian Catholic High School. He became a scout for the New York Mets part-time in 1982. In 1983, he was assistant coach at Grossmont Junior College. He was a Chicago Cubs scout from 1993-2004, covering San Diego then Arizona. He then moved to the Los Angeles Angels as an Arizona and New Mexico scout. He signed Peter Bourjos, Michael Anton, Kole Calhoun, C.J. Cron and others.
