Catcher Justin O'Conner was a first-round pick in 2010.

O'Conner went 31st in the 2010 amateur draft, to the Tampa Bay Rays. The choice was compensation for their failure to sign 2009 first-rounder LeVon Washington. It was Tampa Bay's second pick, after Josh Sale, another high school position player. He quickly signed for $1.025 million and joined the GCL Rays, going 0-for-3 with an RBI in his pro debut against the GCL Red Sox on June 22nd.
