The 1994 AAA All-Star Game was played on July 13, 1994. The seventh annual game was held at Greer Stadium in Nashville, TN. The Nashville Sounds would be the hosts.

For only the second time in the game's history the American League would be the home team, with Nashville being the AAA affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. The AL team would be managed by Sounds manager Rick Renick with coaches Don Long from the Vancouver Canadians and Bob Miscik from the Rochester Red Wings. The National League team would be managed by Tucson Toros manager Rick Sweet. His assistants were Joe Pettini of the Louisville Redbirds and Mike Quade from the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons. The game returned to television, this year being simulcasted on SportsSouth and the Prime Network. The game was called by Bob Kesling, Bobby Valentine and Terry Gannon.

The AL would take an early lead in the game going 4-1 after two innings. But the middle innings belong to the NL. A 3 run 4th, one run 5th, 2 run 6th, and a one run 7th put the NL up 8-4. The AL mananged to get one across in the 8th but that was all they could do as the NL took a 8-5 victory. For the second straight year AL pitchers showed their all or nothing approach by losing the game but picking up 11 strikeouts. The win went to Brad Woodall, Kirt Ojala took the loss and Gary Buckels got the save.

The Star of Stars awards were given out to the best player from each minor league. The American Association award went to the home town Sounds second basemen Ray Durham. Durham went 3-3 with a run scored. The Pacific Coast League award was won by Phoenix Firebirds shortstop Paul Faries, who in his third AAA All-Star Game (1990 &1992) hit a 2 RBI double. Luis Lopez of the Richmond Braves won the award for the International League going 3-4 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored.

Future Stars in the game included Carl Everett, Ray Durham, Garret Anderson, Alex Gonzalez, Quilvio Veras and Julian Tavarez.
