Terry Gannon played for North Carolina State when they won the national basketball title in 1983. He played basketball in Europe then became an announcer. Gannon was announcer for the Charlotte Knights from 1990-1994 and has also announced the Little League World Series three times. He worked the 1994 AAA All-Star Game. Most of his announcing experience has been in basketball.
