1984 NPB All-Star Game
There were three 1984 NPB All-Star Games.
Game 1[edit]
Game 1 took place July 21 at Korakuen Baseball Stadium, with an attendance of 34,572. The PL won in a romp, with Daijiro Oishi and Koji Minoda each rapping three hits and Minoda driving in three. Koji Yamamoto hit a three-run homer in the first in a losing effort. Masayuki Matsunuma got the win over Takashi Nishimoto. Minoda was named game MVP, which he had previously won in 1978 NPB All-Star Game 2.

Game 2[edit]
Game 2 was held July 22 and was held in front of 34,448 fans at Hanshin Koshien Baseball Stadium. The PL won again, with Wells, Kadota and Ishige all going deep (Wells was named game MVP). Nakata and Yazawa homered for the CL. Yasujiro Suzuki got credit for the win and Osamu Higashio the save while Nishimoto lost again.

Game 3 was held July 24 in Chunichi Baseball Stadium; the attendance was 28,430. The CL won, 4-1, with strong games from Nakahata (2 R, 2 RBI, HR) and Egawa (8 K, 0 H in 3 IP). Egawa got the win, Ushijima the save and Suzuki the loss.
