1975 NPB All-Star Game
There were three 1975 NPB All-Star Games, and the Central League won twice while the Pacific League won the other game.
Game 1[edit]
Game 1 was July 19 with 42,637 fans coming to Koshien Stadium. Koji Yamamoto and Sachio Kinugasa each hit a homer in the first two innings, and Yamamoto won the MVP with his 5 RBI. Yutaka Enatsu, Yoshiro Sotokoba and Sohachi Aniya combined to shut out the PL, and Enatsu got the win. Keishi Suzuki was the only productive player for the PL as he struck out 4 in 3 shutout innings.

Game 2[edit]
The next day, 29,105 fans came to Chunichi Stadium and the CL took the series. Makoto Matsubara won the MVP as he crushed a game-winning, 2-run homer in the 7th inning, and Taira Fujita also hit a solo shot. Bobby Marcano was 4-for-4 for the PL, and Michiyo Arito recorded a homer.

Game 3[edit]
Game 3 was held July 22 in Meiji-Jingu Stadium; the attendance was 37,347. The PL finally won a game as Shinichi Yamauchi, Norihiro Mizutani, Keishi Suzuki and Takashi Yamaguchi combined to shut out the CL. Masahiro Doi blasted a game-winning, 2-run homer in the 3rd inning, and he got the MVP.
