The 2002 Pacific Coast League season was the 100th season in the league's history. It ended with the Edmonton Trappers winning their first championship since 1997.
Oklahoma and New Orleans tied for the East division lead, but the RedHawks won the title based on a 10-6 record against the Zephyrs, the PCL's divisional tiebreaker.
