The season ended with the Seattle Rainiers winning their second of three straight titles, beating the Sacramento Solons 4 games to 3 in the championship series. In between 100-win seasons, the Angels nearly lost 100 this time. Pitching Triple Crown winner Yank Terry was the MVP.
