Four no-hitters were thrown during the 1914 Pacific Coast League season: Roy Hitt of Venice against San Francisco on July 19th; Johnny Lush of Portland versus Vernice on September 20th; Rube Evans of Portland against Oakland on October 16th; and Charles Fanning of San Francisco versus Portland on October 25th.
