Biographical Information[edit]
Ed Klepfer pitched 14 years, three in College, six in the Major Leagues and four in the minors. He served in the U.S. Army in World War I (BN) and was a member of American Expeditionary Forces in France and was gassed.
He pitched for the New York Highlanders, Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians. He was an independent oil operator before going to work as a broker for C. W. Titus, a Tulsa oilman, in 1946. He died at age 62 in hospital in Tulsa, OK and is buried at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Tulsa.
