The 1992 College World Series was played at Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, NE from May 29 to June 6. The participating schools qualified by winning one of eight 6-team regional tournaments. The forty-sixth tournament's champion was Pepperdine University coached by Andy Lopez. The Most Outstanding Player was Phil Nevin of California State University, Fullerton.
