Biographical Information

Mike Cather made 75 appearances out of the Atlanta Braves bullpen between 1997 and 1999. On the strength of a 2-4, 2.34 record in 35 games as a rookie, he appeared with the Braves in the 1997 postseason, making 5 more appearances (4 2/3 innings), striking out 5 men without allowing an earned run. After his playin days, he was a private instructor for pitchers from 2001 to 2005, then began a minor league coaching career.
