The 1955 College World Series was played at Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, NE from June 10 to June 16. The participating schools qualified by winning one of eight district tournaments. The ninth tournament's champion was Wake Forest University coached by Taylor Sanford. The Most Outstanding Player was Tom Borland of Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College.
